The 2022 Arbor Swoon Rocker is for the hard-charging girl that demands the most from her snowboard. Loaded with Arbor tech and quality construction, the Swoon Rocker is designed to give you pristine performance in the resort, in powder, and in the backcountry, with the Rocker System for added float, a mid-stiff flex for enhanced stability and response, and Grip Tech edges for stronger edge hold in all conditions.
Board Type: All Mountain
Camber Type: The Rocker System
The Rocker System from Arbor is a parabolic take on reverse camber that progressively reduces the amount of rocker towards the tip and tail. This results in your contact points being closer to the snow, allowing them to engage quicker and more effectively for enhanced response and stronger edge control, while still maintaining the natural float and surfy ride of rocker.
Flex: 5/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)
A mid-stiff flex that is perfect for hard charging riders that need to get the most from their boards, but still like it to have a bit of play.
Shape: Mountain Twin
This board is a twin but has a directional shaped nose and tail, so it can ride switch with no problems but will provide better float going forwards.
Thunderhead Tip - A versatile shape that is made to ride big mountains, deep snow, and at high speeds.
Grip Tech
Grip Tech is a combination of three separate sidecut radii in the nose, tail, and centre of the board, effectively giving the board an additional two contact points. This provides extra grip and control in all conditions, and also makes turning smoother, easier, and less catchy, without losing performance.
Core: Highland II Core
A newly developed screening process has allowed us to hand select the very lightest and highest quality paulownia from our sourcing partners. The result is a lighter, more responsive version of a FSC Certified Highland Core known for highly reliable return and long-lasting durability.
Base: Sintered Base
A high molecular weight base that provides extra durability and speed.
Additional Features:
Carbonized Bamboo Topsheet - This creates the style Arbor is known for, but isn't just for looks. Power Ply is a sustainably sourced layer of wood or bamboo that acts like an added layer of fibreglass due to a labor intensive process that results in increased performance, finish quality, board life, and less reliance on man made materials.
Mixed Glassing - A Triax and Biax layup that provides superior versatility over standard Triax or Biax layups.
