Layby Terms & Conditions
We understand that snow gear can be expensive, especially with the cost of travel and accomodation. We are happy to offer layby on full priced products so that you can spread the payment over a number of weeks. A minimum, non-refundable 20% deposit of the total of the layby is required on the initial day of purchase. Payments may be made in store or over the phone.
If you need to extend your layby we will assess your situation case by case. If we have not received a payment since the initial purchase date and your layby has become overdue, it is unlikely that your layby will qualify for extension. Our maximum extension period is 4 weeks.
We do not offer refunds on layby deposits, however are happy to refund any amount paid over the initial 20% required.
Failure to make payments when they are due, as well as failure to collect laybys by the due date will be treated as cancellation of the layby by the customer. In these instances, the customer will be entitled to a refund of any amount paid over the 20% deposit, but not the 20% required to secure the layby.
Layby is not available on clearance and discontinued products and where specifically stated in store and in promotional materials
Individual items may not be added, removed or separated from a layby.
Refunds for layby payments will be refunded using the original payment method. Deposits or payments made by Gift Card will be refunded by Melbourne Snowboard Centre gift card.
