The Omatic Boron is a versatile snowboard that can handle anything you throw at it. Tested extensively by Omatics team in demanding situations, this board thrives whether it's jumping stairs, riding rails, or getting big air. Featuring a stack of easy-riding tech that'll keep you on your feet while still keeping pop and performance, the Boron is a board that'll take your riding to the next level.
Board Type: Freeride / Freestyle
Camber Type: Positive
Flex (1 = Soft / 10 = Stiff): 5/10
Shape: Twin Directional
Constructed the same from nose to tail, this board will ride switch and regular equally well for controlled jumps, landings, turns, and spins. The inserts are setback 20mm to give you a longer nose for better control and float facing forwards.
Core: Intelligent Core
The Intelligent Core is constructed by vertically laminating poplar stringers together. These are placed down the centre of the wood core to provide more torsional stability.
Biaxial Glass
Biaxial glass has strands of fibreglass positioned in two directions which increases the boards stability at high speeds while maintaining a consistent forgiving flex throughout the board.
XBeam
XBeam places carbon across the board in an X shape from contact point to contact point, adding stability, response, and pop.
Base: Sintruded
The Sintruded base combines the easy fix properties of an extruded base with the better wax absorption qualities of a sintered base.
Additional Features:
Vertwall Sidewalls - 80° sidewall construction angle is designed to provide the mose energy efficient energy transfer from edge to edge, the best dampening properties, and increase stability in all snow types. Slanted sidewalls offer exceptional torsional rigidity and pop.
DualRadial sidecut - The DualRadial sidecut design incorporates and blends two radii for quick, smooth, arcing turns. Edge contact points at the tip and tail are decreased, transferring energy to the middle of the board which makes it less catchy.
- Mens freeride/freestyle flex pattern
- 2x4 insert pattern
