Description

The 2026 Jones Mountain Twin was designed for riders who want one board that is ideal for slashing, jibbing and jumping everything within and outside resort boundaries. Enjoy landing switch, spinning off bumps and treating the whole mountain like an endless skatepark without sacrificing speed, stability or float in this one board quiver killer. Giving you tons of pop, predicability and stability, the mid stiff CamRock profile combines positive camber underfoot with rocker in the tip and tail just past your inserts, which also gives you increased float and forgiveness in your ride. Year after Year the Mountain Twin adds awards to its trophy case, so no wonder it's a quiver killer and a favourite of both Jones team riders and amateurs worldwide, the Mountain Twin can be ridden all day, every day, no matter what the conditions or the terrain

Board Type: All Mountain

All Mountain 9/10
Powder 8/10
Freestyle 8/10

All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.

Flex: 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.

Ability Level: Intermediate

Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.

Shape: Directional Twin with Medium 3D Contour Base

A directional twin snowboard has a symmetrical shape but with a slightly shifted stance, making it ideal for riders who want the versatility of a twin for freestyle, with the added stability of a directional design. It performs well both regular and switch but excels in one direction, offering improved control on varied terrain.

An all-terrain 3D Contour Base with a 4mm spoon bevel in the nose and up to 4mm in the tail, starting just before the contact points.

Camber Type: CamRock

Jones' CamRock profile blends camber in between the bindings and rocker in the tip and tail. This profile enhances freestyle riding by being more playful while still having the pop, power, and response of camber.

Width: Standard, Wide

Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.

Wide boards are for those with large boot sizes and provide extra flotation, reduced drag, and never feel clunky or cumbersome underfoot.

Inserts: 2x4 Inserts

These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.

Board Construction

Topsheet: Premium Topsheet

Jones' Premium Topsheet is a durable and scratch resistant topsheet, perfect for daily use.

Laminate: Biax Fiberglass, BComp Carbon Flax Stringer with Bio Resin

A dual-layer, multi-directional fiberglass laminate created for a lively yet forgiving ride, offering a balanced blend of mid-soft torsional flex and responsive energy transfer.

BComp Carbon Flax stringers deliver the ideal mix of power and control—carbon adds serious pop, while flax smooths out vibrations and keeps harmful emissions lower than full carbon designs.

This plant based resin is more environmentally friendly than traditional petroleum based epoxy that has unmatched bonding properties for increased performance and less weight.

Core: Master Core

The Master Core is made of 1:1 Poplar to Paulownia ratio in alternating stringers to create a lightweight, poppy, and durable core.

Sidewall: Recycled ABS Sidewalls

Jones makes their sidewalls out of a recycled ABS material with a round finish. This increases durability by deflecting impact away from the sidewall preventing chipping and cracks.

Edge: Recycled Edges

Made of recycled German steel, these bombproof edges are made to be the strongest and longest lasting on the market.

Base: Sintered 8000 Base

A top-tier sintered base that’s incredibly fast, soaks up wax for lasting glide, easy to repair, and built for unmatched durability.

Additional Features:

  • Freeride/Freestyle Pack

By allowing you to center or set back your stance on the sidecut of the board you can optimally set your stance for the conditions

  • Factory Tuned

All Jones board come detuned in the tip and tail and ready to ride from the factory.

  • WEND Natural Wax

All Jones boards are factory waxed with a natural wax, ready to ride as soon as you hit the mountain.

  • Forever Flex

  • Traction Tech

Traction Tech enhances edge grip with strategically placed contact points, giving your board a firm, reliable hold on the snow—just like a serrated knife.

  • 3D Base Contouring

Inspired by surfboard design, 3D Contour Bases reduce tip drag for effortless turns, better glide, and enhanced float—so you can ride faster and with more flow.
