Melbourne Snowboard Centre Is Hiring!
With less than 90 days until the start of the 2018 snow season, we are on the lookout for some fresh faces to join our superstar team. We are a privately-owned business, based in Preston, Victoria, with an amazing reputation for quality customer service and a wide variety of products. With our peak season fast approaching, we are now looking to fill the following positions:
- Boot Fitter
- Sales Assistant
- Warehouse Assistant
- Snowboard Technician
- Rental Assistant
Our ideal candidates will have a background in snowboarding (or skiing) and a love for all things snow. Experience in a retail or rental setting is preferred, however not essential, with extra bonus points awarded to anyone with previous snow retail experience. You must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, be committed to customer satisfaction, and hold a positive and enthusiastic attitude. We have a close-knit crew, requiring you to work well as a team and help out other staff when required.
JOB SPECIFICS
Boot Fitter: Must have previous experience fitting snowboard boots, knowledge of brands and understand the heat moulding process.
Warehouse Assistant: Must hold a Victorian drivers licence. Forklift licence a bonus.
Snowboard Technician: Ideally you will have experience with waxing, edge sharpening and repairs, base repairs (P-tex and metal grip), and be confident using Wintersteiger or Montana machines.
AVAILABILITY
We are looking for both part time and full-time staff, available for a rotating roster including weekends.
