The 2026 Lib-Tech MC Wayfinder III has been upgraded this year with a new sidecut that is more resort friendly so you can enjoy this board on the resort as well as in the deepest powder. With years of riding experience at Mt Baker and in Japan, MC has refined the Wayfinder to handle nearly any terrain, shining especially in deep powder. Its surf-inspired, floaty hourglass design isn’t just stylish—it features a long nose and raised tail that glide smoothly like a boat, offering great freestyle versatility. The gentle sidecut allows for smooth, powerful turns on hardpack. Whether you’re cruising through deep powder, carving groomers, or heading back to the lift, this board supports you every step of the way.
Board Type: Freeride-Powder
Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.
Powder snowboards are designed for deep snow. Generally these boards feature a directional shape with a tapered tail for better float and ease of riding.
Flex: 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.
Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.
Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.
Shape: Tapered Directional
A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.
Camber Type: C2 Directional

Mild rocker between your feet with powerful camber to the tip and tail gives you power and pop on groomers and in the park along with float and freedom to charge through powder. Delivers unmatched contact and control in any condition—ideal for directional carving at the resort, dominating the park, and shredding powder.
Width: Standard
Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.
Inserts: 2x4 Inserts
These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.

This base is made of a fast sintered material with a die-cut base to reduce waste.
Additional Features:
Seven strategically placed serrations along the edges of the board grip onto the snow and hold a strong edge in any condition.

-
UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection
By removing the edge around the nose and tail and replacing it with UHMW material, you no longer need to worry about running your nose and tail into objects and damaging the edge. This makes it easy to repair and reduce swing weight.
