The 2025 Bataleon Wallie snowboard has burst the park and freeride scene since its introduction a few years ago, allowing riders to eye new hits and lines in spots you've ridden for years, and see tricks in others you thought were unrideable. Its unique tip and tail shape provides a more creative approach to freestyle riding, whilst its unforgettable colours makes it stand out all over the mountain. Pop extra hard with the C.S.T. carbon tube between your feet, get extra stability with carbon stringers running edge to edge, and stay out longer with less wax stops thanks to the Hyper Glide S base. Still with a softer flex, you'll get those buttery soft presses and tweaks so you can bonk, tap, press and pop your way to last chair.
Rider Level: Intermediate
Board Type: Park / Resort
Flex: 3/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)
A soft flex for a playful, forgiving board that flexes and presses with ease.
Float: 53/100
Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.
Outline Shape: Twin Park
Boards that are shaped for the park are designed with maximum centre base width and minimal side base uplift. Creating a stable landing platform with confidence boosting forgiveness and next level agility.
Camber Profile: Low Camber
All 3BT boards have a positive camber profile but vary in the degree of camber and uplift across the width of the board. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail.
3D Shape: 3BT + Sidekick
3BT - At the heart of every Bataleon is 3BT (Triple Base Technology). It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimises the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance.
Sidekick - Sidekick dramatically increases the amount of uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation smoother, enhances float, and improves handling in rough terrain.
Sidebase Uplift: Low Nose, Low Tail
The gradual side base uplift determines how the board will behave on snow. Most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology, making Bataleon boards more versatile than others.
Core: Light Core
The Light Core features a 50-50 blend of Poplar and Paulownia woods for optimal strength to weight properties.
Bi-Ax Laminate - A time-tested two way weave that keeps the board light, strong, and snappy, without increasing torsional stiffness.
Carbon Stringers - This board has four carbon stringers running edge to edge under the inserts. This enhances response, torsional stiffness, and power underfoot.
C.S.T. - The Central Super Tube upgrade puts one hollow carbon rod down the centre of the core, adding pop without increasing torsional stiffness.
Flex Walls
Base: Hyper Glide S
The Hyper Glide S base is the standard sintered base from Bataleon. Tough and fast, and even faster when you keep it waxed.
