If you want the best possible performance and the greatest level of comfort from your boots, you can't beat a custom footbed. Standard snowboard boot footbeds vary from thin, flat foam, to 3D shaped footbeds with blends of materials and arch support. These high-end footbeds are great, but they are designed to suit the majority of feet, and not your foot. This is when drop in insoles (like the ones we stock from Sidas) are great, you can choose which one suits your foot, trim it, drop it in and you're good to go. 

While this is a great, quick, easy solution to increase the comfort in your boots, the ultimate is to go for a set of custom footbeds, which are made specifically for your foot shape and will play a huge part in making your boots feel comfortable and help improve performance, reduce fatigue, and improve your overall experience in your boots. 

How much does it cost to get Custom Footbeds at Melbourne Snowboard Centre?

The base price is $250 and includes a standard custom footbed setup from start to finish. If your boots require customisations or the footbed requires extensive customisations/extra materials then this will be added on top.

How long does it take?

We want to make the experience quick and painless, but we also like to take our time and make sure it is done right. 45 minutes to an hour is pretty typical for a custom footbed, but please allow at least an hour. 

What do I need to bring?

If you have your own boots, it is essential you bring them with you. If you don't have boots yet and are looking to shop for boots with us, please show up at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment and we'll have the boot fit and custom footbeds taken care of on the same day. 

Do I need to book an appointment to get custom footbeds? 

Yes, our custom footbed service is strictly by appointment only. 

What days can I come in and get custom footbeds?

Our custom footbeds service is Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm. This is strictly by appointment only and availability is limited.
