The Burton Fish 3D is the evolution of the famous Burton Fish into the world of splitboarding. By delivering a surfy feeling in a backcountry ready board its sculpted 3D contours in the nose and tail enhance float and flow, while the classic fish shaped outline keeps the board lively and precise in even the deepest snow. A shortened overall length sharpens manoeuvrability, making it easy to dodge through trees and the double swallowtail adds drive and increased edge control.
Board Type: Powder
Powder snowboards are designed for deep snow. Generally these boards feature a directional shape with a tapered tail for better float and ease of riding.
Flex: 4.5/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.
Ability Level: Intermediate
Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.
Shape: Tapered Directional/Directional

A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.

Directional Flex increases pop in the tail of the board while having a stiffer nose that makes the board easier to control in all conditions.
Camber Type: Directional Flat Top

Directional Flat Top consists of flat camber between the feet and towards the back of the board give you stability and catch-free turns, with an early rise nose for effortless float.
Width: Standard
Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.
Inserts: The Split Channel
The Burton Split Channel is the easiest and most adjustable mounting system for splitboards and comes with channel compatible pre-mounted pucks.
Board Construction

Laminate: 45 ° Carbon Highlights
45° Carbon Highlights is a tip to tail carbon layer reduces weight and contains 45° angled fibres, fine tuning the torsional flex to make a more aggressive ride.
Core: Super Fly II 700G Core with Dualzone EGD

The Super Fly II 700G Core features stronger and lighter woods targeted in specific areas, which provides more pop and strength while reducing weight.
Dualzone EGD aligns the wood grain in the core along the heel and toe edge in two unbroken zones perpendicular to the rest of the core, which gives consistent edge hold and strength.
Base: Sintered WFO
Standing for Wide F!#@ing Open, this base made from an extra absorbent, high density sintered material that is infused with a specially formulated wax, resulting in an ultra durable base that rides Wide F!#@ing Open.
Additional Features:
Burton is able to maximise pop and performance by overbuilding their boards in the factory, and then using machinery to break it down for you. This allows your board to ride the same from day one, to day 100, season after season.
