Like any good snowboarder should, we have been studying the weather patterns and snow cams like a hawk over the past few weeks and in case you haven't noticed, the Australian resorts have been graced with a good thick layering of fresh snow! So much so that Mt Buller will become the first mountain in Australia to have lifts turning for Winter 17 with Bourke Street OPEN this Friday night for a special Twilight Session!
Buller Ski Lifts General Manager Laurie Blampied said, "We've invested in new stadium-style lighting on Bourke Street that turns night into day and this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the early snow and get out for a Friday night slide. Everyone is excited to get on the snow as soon as possible so we're inviting everyone up for a free night ski this Friday 2 June."
Bourke Street will stay open for skiing into the weekend and next week with the Blue Bullet lift in operation from 9am - 5pm daily. Beginner "Discover" lessons will commence at the Ski & Snowboard School.
Lift passes from Saturday will be $60 for adults and $33 for children.
We will do our best to keep you all updated with more info as it unfolds, such as extra lifts opening etc!
