The Direct Connect Mounting System uses a revolutionary new way of connecting you to your snowboard. By removing the disk all together, the Source mounts the baseplate directly into your snowboard through the use of only using two screws. This mode of connection improves the reactiveness between you and your snowboard while eliminating unnecessary weight.

The Stage 10 Halo Duraflex XB is the lightest baseplate Union has ever produced, engineered to meet the brands demanding strength to weight standards while delivering the durability Union is known for. This frame serves as the hub of the binding, linking the baseplate core, bushing, heelcup, and both straps into one system. Created from partially sustainable carbon injected Duraflex CB nylon, the baseplate is strong and responsive with reduced environmental footprint.
Forged Carbon DCS Baseplate Core
The new Forged Carbon DCS Baseplate Core is exceptionally stiff, incredibly light, and built for maximum response. Union reduced the overall baseplate height by 10%, putting you closer to the topsheet for a more connected ride. This core delivers the fastest energy transfer Union has ever produced, thanks to their exclusive forged carbon construction.

The S18 Source FC Highback made of Forged Carbon and is 40% lighter and offers more response than traditional nylon highbacks.

Magnesium S1 w/ Aluminium Base
The Magnesium S1 ratchet has a fully integrated spring which is protected from the harsh outside elements and provides you with Union's best ratchet to date. It has a longer life span and better spring return.

Phantom Slim Ankle Strap + TS 6.0 Toe Strap
The Phantom Slim Ankle Strap is25% lighter than Union’s standard Exoframe 4.0 Ankle Strap and delivers the same comfort in a sleeker, lighter package. Featuring a smaller ratchet, a compact ladder, and a streamlined design, it reduces weight and materials without compromising performance.
Separating the exterior toe strap frame and interior rubber grip allows the rubber grip to form fit perfectly to any boot shape on the market today, while a new more integrated toe connector gives the the binding a more finished overall look.

More durable and better cushioned than standard thermoformed EVA, Hi-Flex EVA bushings add an extra layer of shock absorption and vibration dampening that won’t pack out or lose shape over time.
