The 2026 Rome Katana AsymWrap FASE bindings are built for riders who want the perfect mix of power, adjustability, and ease. With the new FASE Fast Entry System, getting in and out of your bindings has never been quicker, while the AsymWrap platform delivers a surfy yet responsive ride with maximum board feel and tweakability. Featuring lightweight yet durable materials, multiple strap adjustment options, and a comfortable canted footbed, the Katana AsymWrap FASE is designed to perform everywhere on the mountain.

Binding Type:
Freeride
A freeride binding is built for riders who want power, control, and stability when charging steep lines, carving hard, or tackling big mountain terrain. They’re usually stiffer and more responsive than freestyle or all-mountain bindings, giving you instant edge-to-edge reaction and a locked-in feel at higher speeds. Designed to handle variable snow and rugged conditions, freeride bindings focus on support and precision so you can ride with confidence in technical terrain.
Baseplate:
Aluminium AsymWrap Chassis
The Rome AsymWrap Chassis is engineered for freestyle performance, offering maximum tweakability and a smooth, surfy ride. Built with 70% nylon and 30% glass fibre, it provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, while the adjustable forged aluminium heelcup and baseplate ensures compatibility with a wide range of boot sizes.
FASE Pivot Mount
The FASE Pivot Mount allows for maximum adjustability of your bindings providing 16 different positions so you can find the perfect fit for your straps.
Highback:
Katana AutoBack
The Katana highback is built from 85% nylon and 15% glass fibre, with adjustable positioning to match the angle of your heelside edge. It also features built-in canting that aligns with the natural angle of your lower leg, creating a stronger connection and improved stability on every turn.
At the core of the revolutionary FASE Fast Entry System, the AutoBack makes strapping in effortless. This smart design automatically closes, via a pressure sensitive pedal, as your boot slides in and opens when you step out, giving you true hands-free entry and exit.

OmniFlex FastSrap Ankle Straps
The new OmniFlex Ankle Straps take comfort and response to the next level. Powered by AuxTech, their overmolded design with a supportive TPU spine delivers a perfect balance of flexible comfort and powerful edge-to-edge control.
The FASE FastStrap features a long, connected ankle ladder for lightning-fast, one-handed entry. Its classic ratchet allows precise tension adjustments, working seamlessly with the AutoBack’s automatic closure to get you strapped in quicker than ever.
Locked-In ProGrip Toe Straps
The ProGrip Toe Strap is built with multiple hinged sections that flex and shape to the front of your boot, creating a secure, custom fit. This design delivers unbeatable hold, keeping you locked in and confident through every turn and landing.
Locked-In Tech provides the ultimate in convenience, just set the toe strap once and ride without worry. The Locking Slap Ratchet 2.0, paired with tri-toothed ladders, keeps your straps perfectly positioned to work seamlessly with the FASE Fast Entry System, while still allowing quick, easy adjustments whenever you need them.
AuxTech
AuxTech is a breakthrough design in ankle and toe straps. Its auxetic pattern mimics a network of tiny hinges to expand evenly under pressure, delivering unmatched comfort, even pressure distribution, and a connected feel that sets a new standard for strap performance.
Buckles:
Bombproof LSR 2.0 Buckles
The Bombproof Buckles are made of a one piece forged aluminium construction for the best in durability and grip. Mix this with the Locking Slap Ratchet 2.0, you can set your straps and never need to adjust them again.
Attachment:
Mini Disk - 2x4 and The Channel compatible
The mini disk features a traditional design for a low-profile fit on your board, securing the footbed firmly to the binding while keeping your setup feeling great underfoot.
Forward Lean:
FASE Specific Forward Lean Adjuster
The Forward Lean Adjuster, made specifically for the FASE System, offers three lean settings to fine-tune heelside response for a more personalised ride.
Additional Features:
DuraCush Technology
Expanded thermoplastic polyurethane used in the SubBase pad under the baseplate of the binding absorb and distribute chatter and impact so you have a smoother ride.
Two Degree Footbed Canting
The dual density of the Katana's footbed is canted by two degrees to properly line up your feet with your knees and hips for a more comfortable ride.

We cannot offer returns on any Facemasks, Neckwarmers, Socks or Chains due to hygiene and the nature of their use.
Store credits,lasting up to 3 years, will be issued for the amount paid at time of purchase for the particular item being returned. They are issued viaemailin which you'll receive a 13 digit code that you can use at checkout online or in store.
Unfortunately stock levels vary and we are not able to stock all products in all sizes, which may result in your desired exchange product or size not being available. In the event that your desired exchange product is not in stock, a store credit will be issued.
Should you not want a credit or exchange, in extenuating circumstances Melbourne Snowboard Centre may issue a refund minus a 20% restocking fee.
