Lib Tech Orca II
The Lib Tech Orca II is the newest apex predator on the market, designed to be the absolute best in all resort riding. Completely redesigned with a brand new, even better shape, an even more eco responsible topsheet, and a poppy Makah Hemlock wood core that is sustainably grown and harvested from the Makah tribe from the Northwestern USA, an already amazing snowboard has been made even better. The longer nose with setback stance makes floating in powder easier than ever while the lightweight core with a tight sidecut lets you really rail when cruising the groomers. Whether you are thinking about going overseas to partake in some steep and deep powder, or carve up every resort here in Australia, the Orca II will make swift work of any terrain in its way.
* Due to the volume shift on this board, we recommend you ride this board 3-6cm shorter than your normal board. *
Travis and Mervin MFG. will be donating a portion of the sale of each Orca snowboard to the Orca Conservancy in support of their efforts to prevent the extinction of the Salish Sea's Southern Resident Killer Whales.
Board Type: Freeride-Powder
Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.
Powder snowboards are designed for deep snow. Generally these boards feature a directional shape with a tapered tail for better float and ease of riding.
Flex: 7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.
Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.
Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.
Shape: Tapered Directional
A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.
Camber Type: Orca C2x Directional

Lengthened camber in the nose and tail with a shortened rocker in the nose offers extreme control, precision, and float all over the mountain.
Width: Standard
Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.
Inserts: 2x4 Inserts
These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
Board Construction
Topsheet: Ocean Bound Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet
This topsheet is made using an eco-friendly sublimation that is both strong and environmentally friendly. The material used in this topsheet has been sourced from PET bottles found and upcycled 50km near waterways or oceans, keeping plastic out of waterways.
Laminate: Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax Fiber
The Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax alloy glass offers a smooth ride while keeping weight low.
Core: HPONH - Horsepower Ocean-Bound Native Hemlock Construction Core
Lighter, environmentally nicer, and smoother. Combines 60% Makah Hemlock and 40% Paulownia woods with Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax Fibreglass for a lighter, smoother, and damp ride.
Sidewall: Birch Internal, UHMW Sintered Sidewall
Durable, high-impact ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. It delivers exceptional impact resistance, superior resilience, and a smooth, damped ride.
Base: Sintered Knife Cut Base
This base is made of a fast sintered material with a die-cut base to reduce waste.
Additional Features:
Seven strategically placed serrations along the edges of the board grip onto the snow and hold a strong edge in any condition.

-
UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection
By removing the edge around the nose and tail and replacing it with UHMW material, you no longer need to worry about running your nose and tail into objects and damaging the edge. This makes it easy to repair and reduce swing weight.
Union Atlas
If you like to ride hard and fast all over the mountain the Union Mens Atlas Bindings should be your first choice when looking for a stiff, aggressive binding that can handle anything you throw at it. Newly designed to be lighter and stiffer than ever, you can be sure you get some of the best response underfoot thanks to the upgraded S22 Duraflex Highback, Exoframe 5.0 ankle straps and TS 6.0 toe straps. After using the Atlas you will fully understand why Union team riders like Kazu Kokubo and Kevin Backstrom make it their binding of choice, no matter the time of year or terrain they ride.

Exoframe 5.0 Ankle Strap + TS 6.0 Toe Strap

Easily adjust your ankle strap to any boot with the quick snap of the pin adjustment, no tools needed.
Separating the exterior toe strap frame and interior rubber grip allows the rubber grip to form fit perfectly to any boot shape on the market today, while a new more integrated toe connector gives the the binding a more finished overall look.
Cushioning:
Vaporlite HD 2.0 Bushings
The Vaporlite 2.0 Bushing system sets a new standard for how a snowboard binding should function and perform. These bushings use an injection moulding process (similar to the way plastic parts are created) making them more waterproof, durable, and precise than any other EVA material on the market. This is next level binding tech that absorbs chatter like no other while maintaining the natural flex of your board, and the new High Density version offers a more responsive, waterproof, and vibration canceling layer between your binding and your snowboard.
Additional Features:
Extruded 3D Aluminium Heelcups:
This heelcup increased the stiffness of the binding, increases response, and is adjustable to help you dial in the perfect fit.
Tool-less Forward Lean Adjuster:
Quickly adjust the forward lean without tools on the fly.
Grade 8.8 Hardware:
Union ensure their hardware is reliable by using the strongest steel available on the market.

Canting:
The footbed of this binding is angled to better align your joints and provide a more natural feeling, less fatiguing ride.
