The 2026 CAPiTA Spring Break Powder Glider was designed for one thing and one thing only; effortlessly float in powder. This powder seeker has the surfboard inspired Surf Rocker reverse camber profile and directional setback stance for maximum float without having to burn out your back leg, while the fat nose and lightweight and powerful core offers you, yet again, even more float in the deep stuff. Every aspect of this board was designed specifically for powder, so take one for a ride and see how wrong you have been doing it all this time.

Board Type: Powder
Powder snowboards are designed for deep snow. Generally these boards feature a directional shape with a tapered tail for better float and ease of riding.
Flex: 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.
Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.
Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.
Shape: Tapered Directional
A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.
Camber Type: Surf Rocker

CAPiTA's Surf Rocker profile draws inspiration from modern surfboard design, featuring a continuous arching tip and tail with a flat section through the inserts. Its smooth, low-angle profile delivers superior float and precise control.
Sidecut: Surf Blended Radial
CAPiTA's Surf Blended Radial sidecut draws inspiration from both surfboard design and on-snow performance to deliver the ultimate powder-surfing shape. It features a radial sidecut extending through and beyond the inserts, followed by a large, smooth reverse blend zone, and is finished with a significant amount of taper for maximum flotation.
Width: Standard
Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.
Inserts: 2x4 Inserts
These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments.
Board Construction

Topsheet: PLT Technology - Digital and Screen Print
CAPiTA uses their exclusive PLT Technology which bonds the topsheet into the already pressed snowboard without having fiberglass structure to show through the topsheet. This creates a seamless connection and does not require an additional layer of lacquer to smooth out the top of the snowboard, saving on both using environmentally unfriendly materials and adding unnecessary weight to the snowboard.
CAPiTA creates their incredibly detailed and vibrant topsheet designs using a combination of digital and hand screen printing methods. Their PAM16000 Printing technology utilises 16,000 individual inkjet nozzles to produce flawless digital graphics with solventless, water-based UV ink—delivering exceptional accuracy, quality, and speed. Additionally, every CAPiTA topsheet includes a portion that is silkscreened through a hand screen printing process, adding unique texture and depth to the final design.
Laminate: Holysheet Tri/Bi and Magic Bean Resin
The Holysheet fiberglass construction utilises fiberglass weaves designed for high tensile strength and low elasticity. By incorporating a greater roving count without increasing weight, this configuration enhances board strength and responsiveness. Many popular models are designed with tri-axial fiberglass layered above the core and bi-axial fiberglass underneath, resulting in a well-balanced ride that enhances both strength and durability.
The Magic Bean resin system, developed over three years, is plant-based with high bio-content, zero waste, and no greenhouse emissions. It requires low production temperatures while delivering high yield, strength, and durability. Its enhanced rigidity allows for a thinner wood core, reducing weight while increasing energy return for a lighter, more responsive board.
Core: Surflite 4.0 Core

CAPiTA's Surflite 4.0 Core is made of ultra wide zones of Paulownia and thin strips of Poplar to create a core that is ultra lightweight and strong.
Sidewall: Waterjet Cut ABS1000 Sidewalls
Waterjet cutting strengthens ABS sidewalls by precisely milling them to the desired shape, rather than bending the material. This method eliminates adding heat to bend the sidewall, preserving the integrity of the material’s chemical structure.
Base: Power Drive Base - Screen Print, Die-Cut
Blending the best qualities of sintered and extruded bases, the Powder Drive base was specifically engineered for the extra-wide chassis of the Spring Break Powder Division, built to complement the demands of deep snow riding. Agile and resilient, this high-performance base material delivers exceptional speed through the trees and across open terrain while remaining low-maintenance and dependable.
CAPiTA uses advanced laser-guided die-cutting technology to ensure razor-sharp edges and exceptionally bold, vibrant colors for their bases.
