Ride Rodeo Ltd. 2016
With Ride's Rodeo Binding you can probably guess by the name that it is a total freestyle machine. It's got all the awesome tech that the other higher end Ride bindings have but with a more freestyle focused high back and heel strap. The Rodeo doesn't stop at the park though; this binding will take you all over the mountain and have you screaming yeeeee ha! This Limited version comes with a stiffer Urethane Highback for more control without sacrificing flex.
Flex: 4/10 - Medium
Board Compatibility: Micro-Disc mounting system connects to all 4 hole and channel system boards.
Base Plate: The bombproof aluminium Infinity chassis is not only light and durable but is backed up with Rides lifetime warranty. The heel cup is adjustable so you can get that perfect centred stance on your board.
High Back: Freestyle asymmetrical design ads comfort and lateral support. The Stealth High Back also sports a more flat shape for easier lateral movement when pressing and tweaking it out in the park. The limited version has been beefed up.
Buckles: Astroglyde aluminium ratchet leavers look as good as they function. A cored out design gives a lightweight feel without compromising on strength.
The Ride aluminium buckles is one of the most smoothest ratchets on the market and provides years of durability.
Straps: Freestyle asymmetrical ankle straps allow a nice comfortable ride without any pinching or pressure points. The flipside strap keeps things out of the way when you put your boot into your binding. Thin Grip 3D toe strap rubber webbing hug to your toe keeping you locked into the back of your binding.
Cushioning: Wedgie Urethane Rollbar puts your body in a more natural stance, especially if you ride with wide binding angles. The Urethane absorbs board chatter and provides impact protection for those heavy landings.
