The 2018 Nitro Spell packs award winning performance into a tech-filled freestyle board that will turn every day into a progression session. If you want to get serious about your snowboarding this board is your best bet, with freestyle features that strengthen the edges, reinforce the base, and bulk up the pressability, giving you a super tough snowboard that still feels light and poppy. Nitro's Powerpods underfoot also enhance your edging, so whether you're carving the hard pack or landing spins in the park, you'll hold and edge and come out clean. Just like its name, it's magic all over.

Key Features

Board Type: Park laps and everywhere else

Camber Type: Flat-Out Rocker

Flat-out Rocker is a flat/rocker hybrid, placing a long flat section insert to insert with rocker sections starting before the contact points, raising the nose and tail and providing effortless turns and catch-free progression. This lifted nose and tail enhance float and pressability while the flat camber stays playful and stable across the entire mountain.

Flex: 3/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

This board is designed to be smooth and loose, with a great flex pattern thats easy to press and tweak but won't wash out.

Shape: Twin

Exactly the same whether you're riding switch or regular, this allows you to push your switch riding and land comfortably regardless of which way you're facing.

Core: PowerCore ll

A performance driven core with tip to tail Poplar wood and additional Beech Wood stringers. The result: Unmatched strength, smooth response, and a tonne of snap.

Whiplash Core Profile

This profile reduces thickness between the inserts with thicker sections outside your feet for huge ollie power while maintaining a comfortable press flex.

Base: Premium Extruded FH Base

A super durable base that is easy to maintain.

Additional Features:

Bi-Lite Laminate - Engineered for strength, style, and refined board-feel

Radial Sidecut - A single radius along the length of the board makes this sidecut extremely versatile and predictable.

Railkiller edges - Edges designed specifically to handle the impact and stress of freestyle riding, they offer more than 200% impact resistance over a standard edge.

Powerpods - Nitro overlays two separate sidecut radii, a tighter one in the centre plus a larger one in the tip and tail, creating extended board width under the bindings for additional edge control on hard and icy surfaces, along with enhancing response and control.
