Nitro SMP 2018

Size Chart
- +

The 2018 Nitro SMP is a full throttle, white knuckle ride that will have you charging down any slope with power and style. Powder and groomers will be at your mercy thanks to the stiff flex pattern and deep sidecut, and the directional shape will keep your nose up and out of the snow no matter how steep it is. Featuring Nitros Cam-Out camber, turn initiation is a breeze and catching your edge is a thing of the past, but you'll still get the solid stability and pop you'd expect from a camber board plus added float and surfy feeling from the early rising tip and tail. The SMP is a hard carving, powder destroying muscle machine that you don't just ride, you strap yourself in and feel the G's.

Key Features

Board Type: All-Mountain and Powder

Camber Type: Cam-Out Camber

Cam-out camber is basically positive camber with earlier and smoother transition zones in the tip and tail. This gives the board a lower rise in the centre, resulting in a fun and responsive ride with easier turn initiation and more forgiveness, giving you the benefits of camber without the aggression.

Flex: 7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

This is Nitro's most versatile all-terrain flex pattern, combining great pop and smooth response.

Shape: Directional

This board has a naturally setback stance, giving you a longer nose and shorter tail for better float in powder and more control in your turns.

Core: PowerCore

Comprised of tip to tail Poplar wood, which provides an ideal blend of flex, response, and feel, while remaining strong and lightweight.

Base: Sintered Speed Formula HD Base

A new base material compound that is fast, absorbent and super resistant to abrasions.

Additional Features:

Bi-Lite Laminate: Engineered for strength, style, and refined board-feel

Radial Sidecut - A single radius along the length of the board makes this sidecut extremely versatile and predictable.
