Nitro Quiver Slash 2018

The 2018 Nitro Quiver Slash can easily be mistaken for a standard pow board at first glance, but look a little closer and you'll see just how unique this board is. Nitro have used a special 3D Balsa core in the slash, thinning out the centre of the board and keeping it thick around the edges, resulting in a board that feels forgiving and easy to press, with insane energy transmission to the edges and rock solid stability. The Slash excels both in powder and on groomers, with a long nose for effortless float and a progressive sidecut to make your turns faster, stronger and even easier. Snowboarding is meant to be fun, take the seriousness out of it with a fun shape that lends itself to serious performance.

Key Features

Board Type: Powder

Camber Type: Cam-Out Camber

Cam-out camber is basically positive camber with earlier and smoother transition zones in the tip and tail. This gives the board a lower rise in the centre, resulting in a fun and responsive ride with easier turn initiation and more forgiveness, giving you the benefits of camber without the aggression.

Flex: 7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

This is Nitro's most versatile all-terrain flex pattern, combining great pop and smooth response.

Shape: Tapered Directional

A wider nose and smaller tail combined with a setback stance make this board ride best nose-first. This will give you better float in powder and more power and response in your turns.

Core: 3D Balsa Core

A new core from Nitro, this features end-grain Balsa wood precision machined to a 3D shape, matching the contoured topsheet of the 2018 Slash. This reinforces the edge and insert areas, and also makes the board look pretty slick.

Base: Sintered Speed Formula HD Base

A new base material compound that is fast, absorbent and super resistant to abrasions.

Additional Features:

Bi-Lite Laminate - Engineered for strength, style, and refined board-feel

Progressive Sidecut - A larger radius sidecut in the nose that blends into a tighter radius in the tail, keeping your turns fast and catch-free.
