The 2019 Never Summer Proto Type Two is the popular asymmetrical combination of the Funslinger and the Ripsaw. The asym sidecut means that turning is smooth and effortless, while the medium flex rating is suited to ride anywhere you can take it. The Ripsaw Rocker Camber profile is a more aggressive mix, which gives you crazy edge hold no matter the snow conditions, as well as having loads of pop. If you are the type of rider who wants a board that can ride trees, carve hard, drop cliffs and ride in the park all on the one board, the Proto Type Two is what you want.

Board Type: All Mountain
Camber: Ripsaw Rocker (Moustache Camber)
Longer transition areas from the rocker to the ends. Less pressure over contact points allows the board to flow instead of pushing against the snow. So in a nutshell, it gives you all the response you might want from a traditional camber board while retaining rocker playfulness.

Flex: 5/10 Medium (1=soft, 10=stiff)
A medium to stiff flexing board for all mountain riding. Enjoy a powerful, stable ride, that can still be playful in the park..
Shape: Asymmetrical Twin
Freestyle shape for easy switch riding in all conditions. The board is also asymmetrical, accommodating for the varying dynamics between heel and toe side turning.
Core: NS Superlight Wood
Like the flight core but even lighter! A combination of durable and lightweight woods create an unmatched strength to weight ratio. The worlds best snowboard fiberglass gives Never Summer boards their superior strength, edge hold and durability. Dampening along the edges, underfoot and at the tip and tail provide stability at high speeds, and absorb vibrations.
Edges: Vario Power Grip
Vario Power Grip side cut utilizes multiple edge contact points, allowing the board to track straight when required, while still providing maximum edge hold.
Top Sheet: TruGrit Top Sheet
Durable, lightweight and chip resistant. A futuristic blend of fiber backed thermoplastic, which is also super grippy, so it's almost like having a giant, in built stomp pad.
Base: Durasurf XT Sintered 5501
Unmatched durability and speed. A top of the line snowboard base for riders at the top of their game. This particular base is also the fastest in the Never Summer range, exclusive to the best of the best boards.
Additional Features:
Carbon Max Laminate Technology - A lightweight but powerful mix of carbon laminates, that give the board torsional strength without sacrificing the control you need.
Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilisers - Forget about understanding the name of this tech, all you need to know is that these are put under the inserts to provide optimum vibration absorption and increase stability at speed.
Low Profile Nose/Tail - Less swing weight for quicker spins and an overall lighter board.
STS Pre-tensioned Fiberglass - Pre-hardened, pre-tensioned laminate that has elastomer stringers - which means that the board have top notch strength, edge hold and performance.
Perforated Rocker Pad - Thin pads are placed in the middle of the board, which is made to absorb vibration between your feet and keep a solid feel in the rocker section of the board.
RDS 2 Damping System - Three narrower damping layers give you a good mix of vibration absorbtion and stability - the perfect mix for freestyle boards.
