Lib-Tech TRS FP 2019

The 2019 Lib-Tech TRS FP is a freestyle board with a flair for freeriding. Originally designed as a park and slopestyle board, the TRS quickly pushed out of the park, performing just as well in the backcountry and on groomers as it did on jumps and rails. It has now proved itself at the highest level in every type of terrain, winning both freestyle and freeride competitions, medalling in the Olympics, as well as winning a stack of Transworld Good Wood awards in both the mens and womens divisions. The TRS is the go-to for Lib-Tech Rider Blair Habenicht for technical big mountain lines, as well as being the choice of Matteo Soltane for freestyle progression, which proves there really isn't a thing this board can't do.

The FP version of the TRS features Firepower construction, taking one of Lib-Techs highest performing ultralight cores and putting it in one of their highest performance freestyle/freeride shapes. FP takes the core of the TRS HP and boosts it up with Basalt, as well as adding a spin-slim tip and tail, enhancing strength, reducing weight, and lowering the swing on the tip and tail, making your ride smoother and easier.

Key Features

Board Type: All terrain everything

Camber Type: C2x

Shortened rocker between your feet with lengthened camber to the tip and tail gives you power and pop on groomers and in the park along with float and freedom to charge through powder. More loaded pressure in the tip and tail than regular C2 for a more aggressive and stable ride.

Flex: 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Shape: Twin

This twin shape is the same tip to tail, and can perform just as well in switch as it does regular.

Core: FP - Firepower

Lighter, environmentally nicest, smoothest. Combines Balsa, Paulownia, and Aspen woods with Triax glass and a 45° Basalt web. This core is crazy light, strong, and smooth.

Base: Eco Sublimated TNT

Fast, strong, low maintenance, and environmentally friendly. This base is a mixture of sintered and extruded, giving you the best of both worlds.

Additional Features:

  • Bio Beans Topsheet - A bio-plastic made from beans. Good for your board, and good for the environment.
  • Magnetraction - 7 strategically placed serrations along the edges of the board grip onto the snow and hold a strong edge in any condition.
  • Spin-Slim Tip and Tail - Reduced thickness in the tip and tail reduce swing weight, giving you quicker spins and a lighter board.
