The 2019 Lib-Tech Box Knife is the left brain to the Box Scratchers right brain, being more calculated, methodical, and precise in its approach to snowboarding. The Box Knife is the favoured board of Jesse Burtner and Ted Borland for backcountry jumps and all mountain freestyle performance, with a more aggressive camber dominant profile holding a strong edge and handling high speed and big landings without worry. Soft enough to press and play, but stable enough to charge through bumpy run ins and sketchy landings, the Box Knife is a board that won't just scratch the surface of what the mountain has to offer, it'll cut right through.

Very mild rocker between your feet with powerful camber to the tip and tail. This is Mervins version of traditional camber, offering maximum edge hold, pop, power and precision with extra float and carve.

Flex: 5.5/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

This twin shape is the same tip to tail, and can perform just as well in switch as it does regular.

Core: OP+ - Original Power + Eco Base

Light, Environmentally Nice, Strong. Combines Aspen and Columbian Gold woods with Triax and Biax Fibreglass for a great long lasting ride.

Base: Eco Sublimated Sintered

Fast and rugged with maximum wax retention, plus a bit of extra environmental care.

Additional Features:

  • Magnetraction - 7 strategically placed serrations along the edges of the board grip onto the snow and hold a strong edge in any condition.
