Description

The 2018 Jones Mountain Twin is the board built for freestylers with a freeride habit. Perfect for riding inside resort boundaries, side country or in the backcountry. For anyone who enjoys landing switch, spinning off any bump in the road and has a general ADD personality type when it comes to their riding. It has won a few awards over the years and is a quiver killer for the likes of Alex Yoder who rides the Mountain Twin all day, every day no matter what the conditions or the terrain.

Key Features

Camber Type: Positive Hybrid

Mellow camber between the feet for stability and pop. Reverse at the tip and tail for freestyle freedom and float in powder.

Flex: 7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Great stiffness for riding pow. Just enough to have maximum control in really light fluffy powder but also soft enough for when you hit any unwanted crud.

Shape: Twin Directional

Rides just like a twin except its built in a way that is almost unnoticeable that makes riding forward easier.

Core: Power Core

Triple-density full wood core featuring hardwood bamboo stringers for added pop and durability plus paulownia for weight savings.

Edges: Magne-Traction

7 points of contact for unmatched edge hold no matter what the snow condition is. When Jeremy Jones started his company his one requirement was to have boards that used Magne-Traction. Thankfully Lib-Tech allowed him to and he has been making killer boards ever since.

Base: Sintered 9900

Fastest base material available that easily absorbs wax for when you need to go even faster. Made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene and Carbon.

Extra Features:

Blunt Tips - A more freestyle focused shape for reduced swing weight.

Eco-Friendly - The entire 2018 Jones range contains the most sustainable raw materials they have ever used, featuring eco-plastic topsheets made from castor beans (aside from wood veneer and carbon models), water-based inks in their bases, natural wax, and recycled ABS and steel wherever possible.
