Even though some bindings are made to be stiff and responsive, the Burton Genesis X gives you the that high level performance without losing out on the comfort.

Designed for aggressive all-mountain riders, the reactive and responsive design means that you can always get the most out of your riding.

The lightweight baseplate is made up of a mix of carbon fiber and a nylon composite, which is super lightweight, strong and reactive.

Key Features

Flex: Medium 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

Board Compatibility: Burton EST bindings are only compatible with Burton ICS channel boards. (Available in a Re: Flex version also, which will universally fit all mounting systems)

Base Plate: Dual component baseplate construction means that the material used under foot is softer than the material on the lateral edges, which means you end up with a ride that is still soft and comfortable, but still responsive with the stiffer feel edge to edge.

High Back: The 30% short glass/nylon composite is quite responsive, but still has enough play.

Buckles: Double take buckles grab the helical tongue ridges to create a cranking system that is not only easier to do up but also faster, smoother and more durable.

Straps: Hammock-strap has a stitchless construction for ultimate response with minimum materials. A nylon cross spine allows for a better binding to board connection. New Super Grip Capstrap toe straps lock you in.

Cushioning: The SpringBED suspends you off the board for extra cushioning and rebound, that is only available on this model.
