The Burton Custom X is undoubtedly the most aggressive board in the Burton line up, giving you pro caliber speed and performance on the hill. If you love to assert some serious energy when you ride, then there is no question that this is the board for you. Key Features

Camber Type: Flying V

It's a magical blend of playful rocker with the added performance of camber. With the reverse camber running from the middle to the ends of the board the mountain will be your playground. When you need to get serious out there the camber under your feet will give your that extra edge hold and response you need to tear it up.

Flex: 7-8/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)

Twin Flex - What way do you want to go? It doesn't matter on a twin flex board, as the construction is the same both ways making switch riding a breeze.

Shape: Directional

Designed to be ridden with a longer nose for powder float and better board control.A shorter tail allows easier and more powerful pop.

Core:

Dragonfly 600G - With over 500 separate laminations criss-crossing throughout the core the Burton X has all the strength and response needed for a super aggressive, light and stable ride.

Squeezebox HighSqueezebox technology is Burtons' answer to creating the most performance driven core profile shape possible, without compromising in strength and durability.  Squeezebox High provides you with a more powerful pop, quicker snap, and speedy edge to edge transitions, with carbon fleece support outside the bindings.

Base: Sintered WFO

The godfather of bases. A sintered base will be there for you when you need speed, durability and wax hold.

Additional Features:

The Channel - Unique to Burton boards, this binding mounting system allows you to perfect your stance without being restricted to a hole pattern. Team up with a pair of Burton EST bindings for infinite stance options.

Frostbite Edges - You will be grateful for these on the next icy snow pack day. Frostbite extends slightly under your bindings to increase edge hold but wont hang you up on the boxes and rails.
