The 2020 Burton Kendo snowboard boot is a siren song for the traditionalists. With the ever changing trends in snowboarding, one technology has remained solid, stable, and a consistently good choice for those who want complete control over their boots. Of course we're talking about the traditional lacing system, which perfectly complements the traditional mindset of the all new Kendo. This simple boot ditches all the bells and whistles in the pursuit of fit and feel, delivering a high end liner, a mid flexing shell, and a simple lacing system that allows you to worry less about your boots and get on with the ride.

Key Features

Boot Type: All Mountain / Park

Boot Flex (1 = soft / 10 = stiff):  6/10

Lacing System: Traditional Lace with Exo-Wrap Reinforced Two-to-One Lower Zone Lacing

The tried and true original lacing system, traditional laces are just like your shoe laces, allowing you to customise your fit the entire way up the boot. It's not as quick as other lacing systems, but it's easier to fix, and gives you total control.

1:1 Lasting

Burton offers 1:1 lasting on every boot, which means every half and full size shell, tongue, and outsole fit perfectly with the liner, offering an ideal fit for every size.

Total Comfort Construction

Total Comfort Construction is a Burton exclusive technology which helps eliminate the break-in period for your boots, giving you an instantly comfortable boot right out of the box that feels just as good from day 1 to day 100.

Articulating Cuff

Allowing the upper and lower zones of the boot to flex independently creates fluid forward motion, minimises shell distortion, and maximises heel hold and response.

Liner: Imprint 3 Liner

The Imprint 3 Liner is a top tier liner from Burton, with the warmest, most comfortable, and most performance-driven fit right out of the box. The Imprint 3 Liner features the Focus Cuff Heel Hold System with hook and loop J-bar interface for easily customisable, rock solid heel hold and minimal lateral movement with free toe to heel flex, Lightweight Power Panels for added response, Rad Pad for lace comfort, DryRide Heat Cycle Lining which maintains warmth while wicking away moisture, a moulded EVA footbed with ESS support, and an Aegis antimicrobial treatment for long lasting stink-free boots.

Cushioning / Outsole:

EST Optimised Midsole

EST isn't just specific to bindings. This boot features an EST Optimised Midsole, which has a lower profile, lighter weight, and a reduced ramp angle for a more direct connection to your binding without sacrificing any cushioning.

Sleeping Bag Reflective Foil

This low-profile and lightweight underfoot technology reflects heat back to the feet, improving both warmth and comfort when faced with cold conditions.

Shrinkage Footprint Reduction Technology

This boot features Burtons exclusive Shrinkage Footprint Reduction Technology, which reduces the footprint of your boot closer to a size below while still fitting like your correct size, helping to eliminate toe and heel drag without sacrificing comfort.
